Biography of Devereaux Smith, Paratransit Coordinating Council

Devereaux Smith, Devereaux Smith is a seasoned professional in fundraising, operations, and communications with over 30 years of experience in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Today she serves as the Executive Director of Molly’s Angels. The bulk of her career has centered around public relations and nonprofit management and fundraising.

Devereaux led development and fundraising at The Bentley School in Oakland and Lafayette, California. She was the Executive Director of The Charlotte Maxwell Clinic in Oakland, providing holistic care to low-income women with cancer. Locally, she was the Director of Communications and Development at The Pathway Home in Yountville, California, serving veterans with PTSD until the tragic events of March 9, 2018.

Devereaux holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from The Ohio State University and a master’s in public administration from Golden Gate University. She is also a certified Master Jam Maker. An active volunteer, Devereaux has served on the boards of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Bentley School, and To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation. She is also an active Rotarian, dedicated to community support.
