Maintenance of Effort

One of the objectives of Measure U (and previously, Measure T) is to provide supplemental funding to partner agencies for the maintenance and rehabilitation of the local streets and roads of the Napa Valley. In order to receive Measure U funds, partner agencies must continue investing local funds into their own local streets and roads programs. A minimum threshold was established by averaging the local funds spent in each jurisdiction’s local streets and roads programs during the 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 fiscal years. Every year, agencies submit a certified resolution confirming that the minimum Maintenance of Effort was met. Each agency’s Maintenance of Effort Resolutions are listed below.
