Biography of Kevin Eisenberg, Calistoga City Council
Kevin Eisenberg grew up in Los Angeles. He earned his BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a teaching credential from UCLA, and a master’s from Cal State Dominguez Hills. He began his teaching career in South Los Angeles and moved into administration as an elementary principal. He moved to Calistoga 32 years ago with his college sweetheart and two children to become the Calistoga Elementary School Principal. After 13 years he became the Calistoga Junior/Senior High School principal.
Though now retired, Kevin remains very active in community service. He served as a member of both the city and county Bicycle Advisory Committees (predecessors to ATAC). He coached several youth sports and was very active in Rotary. Kevin was chosen as Rotary District Governor for Northwestern California for 2014-15 and continues his involvement today. He was elected to the Calistoga City Council in 2022 and was pleased to be selected for the NVTA Board. Kevin enjoys biking, hiking, technology, and travel.
