SR-29/SR-12 alternating closures set overnight April 24-25

Caltrans has scheduled alternating closures of Northbound and Southbound State Route-29 (SR-29) at the intersection of State Route-12 (SR-12) for a paving project on Wednesday, April 24, at 7 p.m. until Thursday, April 25, at 5 a.m.
For worker and public safety, all Northbound SR-29 traffic lanes will be shut down approaching South Kelly Drive Intersection and traffic will be detoured.
Crews will alternate Northbound and Southbound closures overnight. One traffic direction will remain open at all times.
All Southbound (SR-29) lanes will be open for traffic during the Northbound (SR-29) pavement work.
Northbound SR-29 Grinding and Paving
The following detours will be in place during the paving of Northbound SR-29:
• NB-29 to Airport Road – Use left turn at S Kelly Drive
• NB-29 Detour – Right at S. Kelly, straight through the N. Kelly Drive intersection to merge onto NB-29
• SB-29 to EB 12 – Left at S Kelly Drive and then right at N Kelly Drive intersection to merge onto SR-12
• WB-12 to NB-29 – Right at N. Kelly Drive
• WB-12 to SB-29 – Left at N. Kelly Drive, then left at S. Kelly Drive
• WB-12 to Airport Road – Left at N Kelly Drive, straight through the S Kelly Drive intersection

Following the Northbound SR-29 pavement work, Southbound SR-29 pavement work will begin.
Southbound SR-29 Grinding and Paving
All Northbound (SR-29) lanes will be open for traffic during the Southbound (SR-29) pavement work.
The following detours on Southbound SR-29 will be in place;
• WB-12 to SB-29 – Left at N Kelly Drive, then left at S Kelly Drive
• WB-12 to Airport Road – Left at N Kelly Drive, straight through the S Kelly Drive intersection
All lanes are scheduled to be open to traffic by 5 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.
All work is weather dependent.
