SR-29 St. Helena Tunnel of Elms tree maintenance starts Nov. 10, 2025

NAPA COUNTY- Caltrans has scheduled one-way traffic controls on State Route 29 (SR-29) just north of St. Helena within the Tunnel of Elms.
Ten days of tree maintenance work are scheduled daily, starting at 8 PM until 3 P.M., from Monday, November 10, 2025, through Friday, November 21, 2025, within the Tunnel of Elms between Deer Park Road and Pratt Ave.
For workers and public safety, crews will have one-way traffic control in place during the maintenance hours on State Route 29. During one-way traffic controls, crews will hold vehicle traffic to one direction at a time.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and exercise caution while driving in this area. All work is weather dependent.
