Community Advisory Committee (CAC)

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) examines issues related to all modes of transportation — automobile, transit, biking, walking — with a goal of updating transportation infrastructure and improving the health and wellbeing of our community. CAC members help NVTA staff develop important countywide transportation plans and projects. For example, at the first committee meeting, members examined an overview of NVTA’s Vine Transit Express Bus Study to help determine how to reduce congestion and improve commuting options on Napa County’s busiest travel corridors: SR-29, SR-221 and SR-12.
The CAC meets on the first Wednesday of every other month at 5 p.m. in the JoAnn Busenbark Boardroom located at 625 Burnell Street, Napa. Members of the public are encouraged to attend all or part of any CAC meeting. Please see the Agenda and Minutes dropdown below for full meeting details.

In total, 19 members of the CAC represent a broad spectrum of interests along with representatives from each jurisdiction in Napa County. Members serve two-year terms.
