“I am very interested in addressing the final challenges towards improving traffic flow in the South County, primarily through American Canyon and the intersection of Highways 12 and 29.  Addressing traffic congestion is critical for our economy and the environment.”

“I am very interested in exploring the potential for traffic circles (roundabouts) UpValley — particularly at Rutherford Road and Highway 29 and Deer Park Road and Highway 29 – to enhance public safety, improve traffic flow and reduce traffic congestion. I also am interested in exploring the potential for a continuous loop, free shuttle/bus service for residents and visitors in the greater downtown area of St. Helena.”

“The NVTA project I am most interested in is the Travel Behavior Study as it will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Napa Travel Model by analyzing travel demand and patterns. The study informs transit route planning and the Countywide Transportation Plan by collecting Napa Valley transportation modal data related to employment, residents, and visitors. By leveraging transportation data analytics, valuable insights are gained into trip origins, destinations, modes of travel, and traveler demographics. These insights will drive better NVTA Board policy decisions resulting in smarter transportation systems and improved infrastructure management, with a focus on prediction and optimization.”

“I am interested in respecting the historic agricultural quality of Napa County.  Suburban traffic and crowded roads are inconsistent with Napa’s essential semi-rural identity.”

“I am very interested in active transportation. Walking, biking, and other forms of non-motorized transportation are the perfect modes of local transportation for most people. They are completely non-polluting and provide healthful activity.”

“I am very interested in transportation access for seniors in our community. The ability to move freely throughout the community, enjoying social events, accessing all types of services, and connecting with friends and family is a crucial part of healthy aging. NVTA leads our efforts in mobility management.”
