This committee is actively seeking new members — apply today! See the current (Oct. 2025) roster of committee members.

The Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) promotes and encourages safe bicycling and walking in Napa County. Members are appointed by the jurisdiction they represent — currently, NVTA is seeking new ATAC members for the City of Napa, the City of American Canyon, the City of St. Helena, and the County of Napa

The committee supports Napa Valley’s efforts to expand safe, sustainable transportation options by promoting biking, walking, and other non-motorized travel to reduce congestion and improve air quality.

The ATAC meets every other month on the fourth Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the JoAnn Busenbark Boardroom located at 625 Burnell Street, Napa. Members of the public are encouraged to attend all or part of any ATAC meeting. Please see the Agenda and Minutes dropdown below for full meeting details.
