Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC)

The Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) provides advice to NVTA staff and the NVTA Board of Directors on projects, programs, and related efforts that impact those who walk, bike, or roll to get around Napa County. ATAC members serve as liaisons to the communities and councils that they represent by staying informed of local needs, priorities, and opportunities to improve the active transportation environment. Key topics addressed by the ATAC include active transportation projects, safety and encouragement programs, and implementation and monitoring of the NVTA Vision Zero Plan and Countywide Active Transportation Plan.

Members are appointed by the governing body (Council or Board) of the jurisdiction they seek to represent, with those appointments subsequently approved by the NVTA Board. Jurisdictions include the City of American Canyon, City of Napa, Town of Yountville, City of St. Helena, City of Calistoga, and County of Napa.
